Planning the order of a combined PDF
Think about the reader
A combined file is easier to follow when its introduction, main document and supporting material appear in a logical sequence. List the intended order before selecting files.
Check every source
Open each input and confirm that it is the correct revision. Merging an outdated attachment can be harder to notice than sending the wrong file separately.
Review the combined copy
Page copying does not guarantee that every document-level feature survives. Check links, forms, bookmarks and signatures where they matter. Keep the original files as the authoritative copies.
Try the workflow
Place the cover letter first, the proposal second and the appendix third. Review the final document before sharing it.
